Prepared
I have taken a second to figure out where I stand on this property. I am the manager so I suppose that makes me responsible for everything on the lot, including the landscaping. My bf and I have compiled a list of things to do before the owners come by tomorrow.
So far we have swept in front of the rooms, deep cleaned two of the rooms, weeded the garden. We are now about to mow the grass and take care of the weed eating. I want there to be a noticeable difference when they show up tomorrow.
Unfortunately I now have weed duty for the mere fact that my bf unearthed a huge ant hill and they were crawling on his hands and all over everything. They are fucking every where. They have been in my house as well, which is a whole another story. But I stated I would finish it. And now I am. Whatever.
Hopefully the owner's eyes will be open to see that I have really tried to change in the past week, but knowing them they will just have something new to complain about.
We will be fully booked this weekend. : )
I got a new review on TripAdvisor:
"I'm responsible for booking all my husbands trips and I depend on the reviews here on Tripadvisor to help me make the best choice for his hotel rooms. He had a job on the outskirts of this town and once I saw the high cost of a hotel room with the others I began pouring over the reviews here for the Motel. I love the statements saying not to judge it by the outside or the mobile home park it shares land with. That information along with everyone saying how clean it was sold me that this was the place to book him. Flash forward weeks later when he arrives at the Motel and I am standing on Vegas BLVD in Las Vegas when my phone rings and it's my husband who says to me, " I'm standing outside this motel in town you've booked me in. Woman, do you have ANY idea where you booked me?" Once I stopped laughing I told him of all the wonderful reviews and to take a look at the room and if he didn't feel is was as good as all the reviews said then I would jump right on finding another place. Well, he did and he stayed. If he ever finds himself back in town for work, he will gladly stay here again!"
Let me just say this ended a lot better then the last very shitty review I got. Thank you..
